Lees verderPRP, also known as platelet-rich plasma, is a concentrated plasma from blood platelets. Platelets are cells that help blood clot. They also contain growth factors and other important proteins.
PRP is a treatment method used in skin rejuvenation, hair loss treatment, wound healing, and other medical applications.
Daily hair loss of 100-150 strands is considered normal. If it is more than this, hair loss should be taken seriously. PRP also provides successful results in hair treatment. It has been determined that patients have very effective results in hair loss. During the PRP procedure, the patient’s own blood is taken and passed through an instrument. Here, the part called platelet, which will nourish the roots and ensure their development, is separated and injected into the shedding area. This method is especially effective in genetic hair loss.
In the PRP application for hair, 10 cc of venous blood is taken from the patient first (about 1/10 of a cup of tea). The blood centrifuged is divided into two parts as white and red blood. White blood cells, platelets, clotting factors, PGF (Platelet growth factor) are found in red blood. After the red blood is subjected to a special process, it is injected into the diluted area by the napaj method. The basis of this application is tissue regeneration. PRP hair treatment lasts for about 30 minutes, and there is no pain during the application. There is no trace left after PRP and the person can continue their daily life immediately.
PRP treatment is a treatment method that should be applied by specialist doctors. First, the blood taken from the patient is placed in a special tube under sterile conditions. Then, it is placed in a tube containing gel in the blood. The substances in the blood in the tube that is placed in the centrifuge are separated in 5-8 minutes. The plasma part of the blood rich in platelets and growth factors is separated. The mixture obtained is applied to the relevant area by injection method.
PRP hair treatment is applied for a maximum of 30 minutes, on average once every 15 days, and usually lasts for 3-4 months. After that, it will be enough to apply once a year. The most important advantage of this method is that the special plasma is obtained from the patient’s own blood and does not carry an allergy risk.
How is the PRP skin rejuvenation method applied?
Skin aging is due to the loss of some of its properties, just like in the wound healing process. In skin rejuvenation methods, various methods applied while healing the wound are also imitated. The structure that can repair the damage to the skin in the most effective, fastest, and most natural way is still a part of the whole that the skin belongs to. For this reason, PRP has developed as a method that activates this magical power that circulates in our veins.
PRP skin rejuvenation can be considered for various parts of the body, such as the face, neck, decollete, hands, inner thighs, and arms. It is possible to ensure the rapid restructuring of the skin immediately after applications such as laser and peeling.
In the skin that has been exposed to UV rays, wrinkles, blemishes, and depressions can be removed. Restoring elasticity and brightness to the skin is also one of the most important results of PRP skin rejuvenation. In addition, situations where the skin quality is damaged, such as wounds that take a long time to heal in the body, and stretch marks, can be controlled with PRP.
Among the most frequently preferred areas in PRP application are skin blemish treatments. Skin blemish formation occurs over time with aging. However, the main reason is not just aging. Blemishes are also observed at a young age for different reasons.
These blemishes can be more like; acne blemishes, blackhead blemishes, sun blemishes, birthmarks. It is quite simple to get rid of these elements that appear as flaws in skin beauty, regardless of the reason. It is possible to get rid of the blemishes on the skin within 5-6 sessions with the application of PRP.
However, there are different blemish conditions from person to person. While some individuals have small-scale blemishes, some individuals may have larger blemishes. That’s why the number of PRP sessions will vary. If you work with the right expert, you can get rid of blemishes significantly.
